The Victory Baptist food donation ministry, known as "+1", is our way of helping to feed the hungry, underprivileged, and those who just need a little help during tough times in Wilson County. Many families struggle to make ends meet and the food donations help them on a day to day basis.
Each church family is asked to purchase 1 extra food item, thus the name +1, when they do their weekly grocery shopping. The family then brings the food donation the following Sunday to church and drops it off in one of the many collection bins located at they main entrances to the building. Our program works through the Mt. Juliet Help Center and we make delivery to the center once a week. Cash donations are also accepted and can be placed in the cash box on each of the donation bins.
Please remember...this small effort on your family's part. combined with the rest of the church families, will result in a huge difference in someone's life that isn't as fortunate as we are.
And hopefully no child will ever again need to ask their mother,
"Mama, can we eat today?"
