Let me first thank the VBC family for your many expressions of love and appreciation during the recent Christmas celebration. I am so grateful that our Heavenly Father allows me the privilege to serve as your Pastor. God continues to display great favor upon this fellowship as we seek to honor Him in our community and around the world. Thank you for your faithful giving in support of missions. Your gifts to Harbor Church in Cape Cod and through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, Golden Offering for State Missions, and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions will make an eternal difference in the lives of people all over the world. Blessings to all.
As we begin a new year and soon will have new leadership in Washington, I wanted to share something I received from Dr. Steve Gaines, Pastor of the Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, Tennessee and current President of the Southern Baptist Convention.
