Our Purpose

To connect people to Jesus

At Victory, our purpose is to glorify God by connecting people to Jesus. We work to fulfill our purpose by a being missional, disciple-making, and sending church.

  • Reaching Mt. Juliet and beyond with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 
  • Equipping believers to live missional lives. 
  • Engage the local community with the Gospel through various projects and events.
  • Participate in domestic and international mission trips.
  • Support missions through our giving. 
  • Provide missions education to inspire others to serve and to give. 
 
  • Mentoring new believers and walking with them in their spiritual journey. 
  • Teaching and equipping all believers to be better followers of Jesus.
  • Provide opportunities for small group discipleship. 
  • Provide opportunities for enhanced discipleship through various discipleship classes.
  • Multiply disciples.

  • Provide opportunities to be on mission. 
  • Developing and Empowering each other to serve. 
  • Send out those whom God calls.
  • Support those we send in prayer, finances, and partnerships. 

Our Beliefs

Baptist Faith & Message

We believe the Bible is the Word of God. It is truth without any mixture of error. We believe in the inspiration, infallibility, and inerrancy of the scriptures. 

We believe in a triune God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Though distinct persons, all three are co-equal as God. 

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus. We believe that Jesus is the incarnation of God who came to earth as the perfect lamb of God to take away the sin of the world. We believe that Jesus died on the cross and atoned for the sins of the world and that He rose again from the grave bodily. We believe that Jesus has ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father and that He will come again to establish His Kingdom on earth. We believe that faith in Jesus is the only way to salvation. 

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith. It is only by believing and trusting in Jesus can one have their sins forgiven and be given an eternal home in Heaven.
